Last summer my aunt gave me a collection of woodcut prints from a Hungarian artist - I think his name was Béla Szabó, but I'm not sure. Anyway, they were beautiful. I might put them on my blog someday.
How lucky you are to be given a gift of fine woodcuts. I looked around the web for prints by your artist and found very little, so I encourage you to post them on your blog. Eastern Europe is chock full of great printmakers who are largely unknown in the west, though to be fair, even the printmakers from the west are relatively unknown to the main art world.
As for the expression on the face, well, it was just that kind of night, and I tried to get that across in the print.
Jersey Shore resident. Artist, professor, bus driver, assembler, carpenter, janitor, cook, day laborer, whatever. Some of this goes on at Studio Arrabbiata. Details on my site and around the web.
