Went to the Super Wal-Mart in town to pick up a few diverse items. On the long walk from the grocery section (canned tomatoes to make sauce for lasagne) to the hardware area (wood filler for preparing my plywood for woodcuts) I passed the gun counter. What caught my eye among the handguns and hunting weapons was what appeared to be a pistol with a very long barrel. In an odd coincidence, it was on this day that the vote for the Brady gun control bill happened in Congress.
